Florida Department of Children and Families
We work with the Florida Department of Children and Families to develop and deliver professional development via the Internet. Currently, 23 courses are available to earn required certificates qualifying individuals to become childcare providers for young children in Florida homes or facilities. We also create and validate the examinations the particiapnts must pass to achieve those certificates. In 2014, more than 120,000 tests were administered. The courses are cooperatively planned with an advisory team, then programmed and delivered using the latest technology tools, digital graphics, and programming methodologies.
Florida Department of Financial Services
We are working with the Florida Department of Financial Services to create a collection of interactive web-based learning modules for use in Florida schools and by the public. These modules make up a program entitled Financial Literacy and the purpose is to increase understanding of a variety of financial needs. The approach involves the users in learning through activities, videos, infographics, animations, and other techniques designed to peak the interest of those learning from the instruction. Modules include Budgeting and Saving, Banking, Credit Cards, Debt, Credit Reports and Credit Scores, Life Events, and Frauds and Scams.
